Annie Brouwer Korf Award 2025

You can now nominate candidates for the Annie Brouwer-Korf Award 2025. You can register using this form. You must indicate why you think this candidate should win, what they mean for the Utrecht LGBTQIA+ community and for how long and in what way they will do so.

We would love it if you nominated Queer U Stories. For inspiration, you can find here an example with suggestions for answers to the questions in the form. But, choose your own words to express what you like about us. If we win the prize, we hope to spend the award money on making Utrecht's queer history more visible in the city, for example with a mural.

The Annie Brouwer Korf award has been around since 2007 and is for individuals, organizations, initiatives or projects that are committed to the acceptance and visibility of the Utrecht LGBTIQA+ community. The award includes an amount of €5,000 for the winner. Any person, possibly on behalf of an organization/initiative/project, can submit a nomination, provided they are not anonymous.
