October 11, 2025, Colored Qollective was announced the winner of Utrecht's queer award, the Annie Brouwer-Korf Award. The foundation received the award for its support of vulnerable queer individuals. DynamiQ Voices and Queer U Stories were the nominees who narrowly missed out.
The jury unanimously agreed that Colored Qollective more than deserves the 2025 Annie Brouwer-Korf Award. The organization connects people, is open to new people, and serves as a breeding ground for young talent. She convincingly strikes the right balance between collaboration, visibility, and activism. With her constructive and goal-oriented approach, she is an inspiring example to others.
